Hybrid projects in Vienna – photography as a starting point for interdisciplinary concepts
For me, photography is the foundation — from there, projects emerge that go beyond the classic image. In my hybrid projects, I combine photography with independent artistic approaches. This creates work that deliberately opens up new perspectives. Depending on the project, I work in an interdisciplinary way, developing individual solutions together with my clients. My goal is to push creative boundaries and create visual worlds that stay memorable — without ever losing sight of the photographic focus.
Hybrid projects are aimed at people and organizations looking for more than a classic photo production. They're especially well suited for:
- Cultural institutions
- Designers
- Artists
- Brands with an appetite for innovation
Together, we develop solutions tailored individually to each project, bringing creative ideas to life.
Between art and commerce
I combine my experience in commission-based photography with artistic projects, developing exceptional visual concepts for clients with an appetite for innovation. The experimental character of my work is deliberately present, without being off-putting. My goal is to push creative boundaries between art and commerce — work that's conceptually strong while still communicating clearly.
My approach:
Every hybrid project starts with photography as the base medium. From there, the concept determines which additional media make sense and how they interact with one another. Depending on the idea, I combine photography with:
- Design
- Installation
- Film
- Video
- Mixed-media installations
This approach is complemented by experimental lighting and object techniques that add extra layers to the projects and open up new forms of staging.
Cross-media projects with concept
Many of my hybrid projects come to life as cross-media experiences. The goal isn't to use as many media as possible, but to choose exactly the forms of expression that meaningfully complement the concept. Photography always remains my home base. Additional media come into play whenever they strengthen a project's idea and expand its impact. Hybrid projects are best experienced through concrete examples. That's why I present selected works as case studies, documenting the journey from the first idea through the photographic execution to the cross-media presentation.
Let's develop new ideas together!
Are you looking for a photographic approach that goes beyond classic visual worlds? I'd love to work with you to develop a hybrid project that brings together photography, art, and other media into a concept that's uniquely yours.
